Speech therapy is provided to improve your child's intelligibility and production of speech sounds. Techniques include targeting specific speech sounds (articulation therapy) and/or groups of speech sounds (phonology therapy). In some cases, oral-motor therapy may be recommended to strengthen and improve the range of motion of the oral structures for correct speech sound production.
