Language Therapy is provided to improve your child's receptive and/or expressive communication skills. Receptive language therapy targets your child's understanding of language. Expressive language therapy targets your child's use of language. Our language approach teaches linguistic concepts and relationships of language (spatial, temporal, comparative), and improves vocabulary and comprehension, as well as communicative skills. Strategies are developed and implemented to facilitate problem solving, reasoning, and thought processing so that your child becomes and independent thinker and learner.
